Parallel horizontal pouch packaging

Dual-Lane Horizontal Premade Pouch Packaging Machine

Two parallel paths organize premade-pouch pickup, opening, filling integration, mouth preparation, heat sealing and discharge. Stable throughput depends on pouch consistency, dosing time, dust or liquid contamination, deaeration, sealing and exception handling; lane count alone is not a capacity promise.

First see actual working conditions

Both bag paths must be separately verified for bag supply, opening and sealing stability

Please provide empty pouches, filled pouches, product, target fill weight per pouch, mouth cleanliness requirements, target cycle time and workshop interfaces.

01

Check applicable objects first

Pre-made flat pouches, stand-up pouches or similar pouch types with stable dimensions and opening structure; zipper and shaped pouches require sample evaluation

02

Match packaging materials and process

Heat-sealable pre-made pouches; mouth flatness, layers, zipper and heat seal layer are confirmed per pouch sample; dual-lane bag supply, picking, opening, optional metering filling, mouth finishing, heat sealing and discharge

03

Optional modules are not standard

Optional liquid pump, auger, multi-head weigher, opening detection, no-fill-no-seal, rejection, coding and finished product conveying.

04

Parameters confirmed per project

Please provide empty pouches, filled pouches, product, target fill weight per pouch, mouth cleanliness requirements, target cycle time and workshop interfaces.

Recommended information before quotation

The more complete the samples, packaging materials and site information, the easier it is to determine the equipment route, changeover scope and line integration boundaries.

Both bag paths must be separately verified for bag supply, opening and sealing stability

  • The bag magazines, picking, opening and gripping actions of both lanes are verified with the same pouch sample
  • Metering system is selected according to liquid, powder, granule or small piece product respectively
  • Opening detection, no-fill-no-seal, rejection and coding are confirmed as optional modules
  • Actual dual-lane cycle time is determined by full process testing of bag supply, metering and sealing

Recommended information before quotation

  • Empty and filled pouches, pouch dimensions and heat seal layer data
  • Product state, target fill weight per pouch and allowable residue or dust conditions
  • Whether zipper, degassing, coding, inspection and rejection are needed
  • Target cycle time, power and air supply, feeding height and finished product conveying direction

Safe specification parameter range

Please provide empty pouches, filled pouches, product, target fill weight per pouch, mouth cleanliness requirements, target cycle time and workshop interfaces.

01

Capacity and cycle time

Confirmed based on bag supply stability, opening success rate, metering time, mouth finishing and sealing dwell; no fixed values are published without project validation

02

Automation scope

Dual-lane automatic bag feeding and sealing; metering, inspection, rejection and downstream conveying are selected per project

03

Applicable containers or packaging

Pre-made flat pouches, stand-up pouches or similar pouch types with stable dimensions and opening structure; zipper and shaped pouches require sample evaluation

04

Applicable products

Liquids, pastes, powders, granules or regular small pieces; metering method must be selected and verified for each product

05

Packaging materials and consumables

Heat-sealable pre-made pouches; mouth flatness, layers, zipper and heat seal layer are confirmed per pouch sample

06

Basic process

Dual-lane bag supply, picking, opening, optional metering filling, mouth finishing, heat sealing and discharge

07

Tooling and changeover

Adjust or replace bag magazine, suction cups, grippers and sealing guides according to pouch width, length, opening structure and filling nozzle size

08

Power, air supply and layout

Confirm equipment dimensions, power, air supply, maintenance space and upstream/downstream interfaces based on dual-lane drives, metering system, heat sealing station, inspection and conveying modules

Common configuration routes

Steps from sample confirmation to delivery

The more complete the samples, packaging materials and site information, the easier it is to determine the equipment route, changeover scope and line integration boundaries.

01Verify pouch sample

Check pouch mouth flatness, opening characteristics, gripping position and heat seal layer.

02Match metering system

Determine pump, auger, weigher or other method based on product state and target fill weight.

03Commission both bag paths together

Check bag supply, opening, product drop, mouth finishing and heat sealing actions.

04Continuous run acceptance

Accept according to agreed pouch sample, product, cycle time, waste handling and changeover standards.

Common configuration routes

Compare single-lane, dual-lane and optional inspection configurations

Two-lane, four-lane and rotary pouch systems differ not only in speed but also pouch consistency, dosing distribution, changeover space, exception recovery and maintenance.

Basic dual-laneMain machine performs dual-lane bag picking, opening, gripping, sealing and discharge; metering interface is confirmed separately.
Dual metering configurationEach lane is matched with a metering system; focus on checking product drop time and mutual interference.
With inspection downstreamOptional opening, filling or sealing inspection and rejection, and connect to finished product conveying.

Parallel horizontal pouch packaging

Frequently Asked Questions

Please provide empty pouches, filled pouches, product, target fill weight per pouch, mouth cleanliness requirements, target cycle time and workshop interfaces.

Can the dual-lane machine package two different pouch types?

Need to compare pouch width, length, opening, gripping and sealing positions separately. If differences are large, simultaneous operation is not recommended; changeover range and program must be confirmed in advance.

Is the metering system included in the main machine?

Not by default. The interface between the main machine and liquid pump, auger, multi-head weigher or other metering equipment is selected based on product and target fill weight.

Send samples and requirements

First confirm samples, packaging materials and process, then determine final configuration

Send pouches, style and dimensions, laminate structure, opening method, product behaviour and dose, dosing route, mouth contamination and deaeration, seal criteria, changeovers, target cycle and downstream inspection or case packing.
