Horizontal pouch feeding and vacuum sealing

Vacuum Horizontal Premade Pouch Packaging Machine

For premade flat, stand-up and similar pouches that can be gripped, opened and vacuum treated reliably. Use empty and filled samples to confirm barrier and seal layers, mouth contamination, allowable deformation, vacuum appearance or residual-oxygen target, then configure dosing, vacuum, optional gas flushing, shaping, inspection and rejection.

Long sample vacuum pouch feeding test video

Local video uses long metal test pieces and unlabeled silver pouches, demonstrating pouch positioning, vacuum treatment, sealing and finished product discharge. Vacuum level, hold time and sealing parameters need to be confirmed based on actual contents and pouch material.

Recommended information to provide before quotation

The more complete the samples, packaging materials and site information, the easier it is to determine the equipment route, changeover scope and line integration boundaries.

Vacuum effect must be judged together with pouch material, product and sealing

  • Vacuum port, bag clamp and sealing position are confirmed based on actual pouch shape after filling
  • Bag barrier properties, product liquid/dust content and bag mouth cleanliness are jointly verified
  • Gas flushing, liquid trapping, shaping and inspection are described as optional modules
  • Vacuum time, sealing parameters and output are confirmed based on filling tests and configuration

Recommended information to provide before quotation

  • Empty pouches, filled pouches, pouch structure and heat seal layer data
  • Product state, liquid/dust content, sharp edges and product pressure resistance
  • Target vacuum appearance, allowable residual air and sealing standards
  • Target speed, gas flushing requirement, vacuum source and upstream/downstream interfaces

Common configuration routes

Steps from sample confirmation to delivery

The more complete the samples, packaging materials and site information, the easier it is to determine the equipment route, changeover scope and line integration boundaries.

01Prepare filled pouch samples

Confirm pouch type, fill volume, product distribution, bag mouth condition and finished appearance.

02Test vacuum process

Observe product deformation, liquid or dust migration and pouch material conformity.

03Verify sealing

Check vacuum port retraction, bag mouth finishing, heat sealing window and leakage risk.

04Continuous run acceptance

Accept according to agreed vacuum effect, sealing, speed and abnormal handling standards.

Common configuration routes

Compare standard heat sealing, vacuumizing and optional gas flushing solutions

Standard premade-pouch sealing, horizontal vacuum pouching and chamber vacuum routes differ by product behavior, mouth contamination, package appearance and residual-oxygen objective, not cycle alone.

Standard heat sealing routeOnly filling and bag mouth heat sealing, suitable for products that do not require vacuum effect.
Vacuum sealing routeAdds vacuum treatment and checks product deformation, pouch material and sealing stability.
Vacuum plus gas flushing routeOptional gas flushing, requires separate confirmation of gas source, safety and residual acceptance.

Horizontal pouch feeding and vacuum sealing

Standard premade-pouch sealing, horizontal vacuum pouching and chamber vacuum routes differ by product behavior, mouth contamination, package appearance and residual-oxygen objective, not cycle alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please provide empty pouches, filled pouches, product, vacuum appearance, allowable deformation, sealing requirements, target speed and gas requirements.

Will the pouch deform the product after vacuumizing?

Depends on product pressure resistance, pouch material and target vacuum effect. The vacuum process must be adjusted using actual filled pouch samples; a gentler scheme can be chosen if necessary.

Can gas be flushed after vacuumizing?

Gas flushing can be evaluated, but gas type, interface, residual target, safety and acceptance method must be defined during the project phase.

Send samples and requirements
