Tube filling and tail sealing

Automatic Tube Filling and Sealing Machine

For plastic, laminate and sample-approved tube materials. It loads and positions empty tubes, meters the product, seals the tail and discharges the tube. If tubes arrive already filled, compare a standalone tail sealer. Tube material determines the sealing route; product behaviour determines dosing, anti-drip and cleaning.

Automatic tube filling and sealing machine operation video

Local actual machine video using unlabeled white tubes, showing machine startup, tube entry into turret carriers, continuous station indexing, tail sealing, and finished product discharge inspection. Inclusion and speed of filling, mark detection, coding, edge trimming, and other modules depend on samples and final configuration.

Information recommended before quotation

The more complete the samples, packaging materials, and site information, the easier to determine equipment route, changeover scope, and line interface boundaries.

Tube material, product, and sealing method must be tested together as a set

  • Tube material structure determines heat sealing, ultrasonic, or other tail sealing methods; actual sample verification is required
  • Filling metering, anti-drip, and cleaning are confirmed based on product viscosity, stringiness, and particles
  • Tube feeding, color mark, edge trimming, embossing, coding, and inspection are optional modules
  • Tail sealing appearance, speed, power, and compatibility range are confirmed per project configuration

Common configuration routes

Steps from sample confirmation to delivery

The more complete the samples, packaging materials, and site information, the easier to determine equipment route, changeover scope, and line interface boundaries.

01Verify tube and tail

Confirm tube laminate structure, dimensions, color mark, tail style, and edge trimming requirements.

02Complete product filling test

Select metering, filling nozzle, anti-drip, and cleaning structure.

03Verify tail sealing and edge trimming

Check seal strength, appearance, embossing, edge trimming, and cooling.

04Continuous finished product acceptance

Accept according to agreed tube, product, speed, cleaning, and changeover standards.

Common configuration routes

Compare heat sealing, ultrasonic, and other tube tail sealing methods

Standalone tail sealers, semi-automatic filling sealers and automatic multi-station machines are separated by incoming tube state, tube material, product and line requirements.

Heat sealingSuitable for plastic or laminated tubes confirmed sealable by material testing.
Ultrasonic sealingSuitable for some tube materials and processes; tube wall, energy, and tail appearance need confirmation.
Other sealing methodsMetal tubes or special tube materials require corresponding process and separate verification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please provide tubes, caps, product, fill volume, tail sealing style, edge trimming and embossing, cleaning requirements, target speed, and site conditions.

Can plastic tubes and laminated tubes share the same tail sealing station?

Tube laminate structure and sealing process need comparison; may require changing sealing tools or using different energy methods; not interchangeable by default.

Can paste with particles be filled?

It can be evaluated, but particle size, concentration, and integrity affect pump, valve, filling nozzle, and cleaning; actual product testing is required.

Send samples and requirements
